Nuvotrade Logistics
Nuvotrade Logistics Inc. provides international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and related third-party logistics (3PL) services. All services are subject to these Terms and Conditions and applicable Canadian law. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
All quotations provided by Nuvotrade Logistics are estimates based on the information supplied at the time of the inquiry. Final charges may vary due to carrier rate changes, fuel surcharges, currency fluctuations, customs duties and taxes, port congestion surcharges, or changes in cargo details provided by the client. Quotations are valid for the period specified and are subject to space and equipment availability at time of booking.
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the nature, value, weight, dimensions, and any special requirements of the cargo. The client is also responsible for ensuring all export and import licences, permits, and authorisations required for the shipment are in place prior to booking. Nuvotrade Logistics shall not be liable for delays, penalties, or additional costs arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
Nuvotrade Logistics acts as agent on behalf of the client and its liability is limited in accordance with applicable international conventions — the Hague-Visby Rules for ocean freight and the Montreal Convention for air cargo. Where no international convention applies, our liability is limited to the lesser of the invoice value of the goods or CAD $50 per shipment, unless a higher value has been declared in writing and agreed upon. We strongly recommend that all clients arrange comprehensive all-risk cargo insurance for every shipment.
Nuvotrade Logistics provides customs brokerage services as agent for the client. The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all customs declarations, HS code classifications, and valuation information provided. Nuvotrade Logistics shall not be liable for penalties, fines, delays, or seizure of goods arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
Standard carrier liability under international conventions is limited and may not fully cover the value of your cargo. Nuvotrade Logistics strongly recommends all clients arrange all-risk cargo insurance. We can arrange comprehensive cargo insurance on your behalf upon request and at an additional cost.
Invoices are due and payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Nuvotrade Logistics reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 2% per month. The client shall be responsible for all costs of collection, including legal fees, incurred in recovering overdue amounts.
Nuvotrade Logistics shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, port congestion, government actions, pandemics, or carrier equipment failures.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
Nuvotrade Logistics reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website at nuvotradelogistics.com/terms.
